Annual IG Seminar - 2018
2018-12-22Sri Lanka Artillery organized its 12th annual IG Seminar which is the most professional round table discussion on artillery matters in multi disciplines. The seminar was held on 21 and 22 December 2018 at the School of Artillery, Minneriya with the participation of large number of Instructors in Gunnery and the forum was presided by Major General GRH Dias VSV USP ndc psc IG, Commandant - Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant - Regiment of Artillery.
This year theme of the discussion was to upgrade the theoretical and practical knowledge of the gunnery through practical experience in par with modern technology and equipment related to the field. Nominated IGs presented formal presentations on research areas entrusted to them on which the discussion was developed.
School of Artillery hosts the seminar keeping the traditions and customs of gunner family each year under the supervision of Headquarters Artillery Brigade.
