The Chief of the Defence Staff paid a visit to the Security Forces Headquarters (South)
2012-06-19The Chief of the Defence Staff Air Chief Marshal W.D.R.M.J. Goonetilleke RWP & bar, VSV, USP, ndc, psc paid a visit to the Security Forces Headquarters (South) on 18 June 2012. During his visit, he also visited the 4th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery. CDS inspected the NCO’s living areas including the NCO’s club. He also discussed with the NCO’s about the facilities that they enjoy at the Regiment. The CDS also attended for the tea party arranged at the Artillery Officers’ mess. The Commander SF HQ (S) Maj Gen SR Manawaduge RWP RSP ndu psc IG presented a memento to the CDS in memory of his visit.
