Col Comdt's first field visit to the School of Artillery - Minneriya
2019-06-29The Colonel Commandant Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Maj Gen WRP de Silva VSV USP ndu IG has paid his first visit to the School of Artillery on 29 June 2019 at Minneriya.
The programme commenced with the honouring of a Guard turnout to the Colonel Commandant and rest of the programme were comprised of numbers of significant events as indicated below.
a. Troop Address by the Col Comdt.
b. Laying of foundation stone to the two stories ORs' accommodation block.
c. Firing Demonstration at Simulator hall.
d. Inspection visit at School of Artillery premises.
e. Tree Planting.
f. Briefing by the Comdt School of Artillery.
g. Inspecting of Gunner Supercross track.
Centre Commandant and senior officers were participated for the day's events.
