9 SLA won the Championship of Inter Unit Drill Competition 2020
2019-12-24Inter Unit Drill Competition was held from 18, 19 and 20 December 2019 at 6 SLA parade ground. All Artillery units have taken part in this annual competition and prize Awarding Ceremony was held on 24 December 2019 and Brigadier NLK Samarasinghe IG graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
9 SLA awarded as the Best Drill Squad whilst 6 SLA and 14 SLA secured second and third places respectively. Capt ETK Ediriweera SLA of 9 SLA was awarded as the Best Commander and S/155174 S/Sgt Dissanayake DMP of 10 SLA was awarded as the Best Drill Instructor.
