SRI LANKA ARTILLERY SEVA VANITHA LADIES VISIT HEROES AT MIHINDU SETH MEDURA
2020-09-10The Seva Vanitha Artillery Branch made its annual visit to the Mihindu Seth Medura wellness resort on Sunday the 6th of September 2020. 24 members of the branch participated in the visit and a gift bag consisting a variety of toiletries and perfumes was gifted to each inmate residing at Mihindu Seth Medura - Aththidiya. The wellness resort was also donated a pneumatic compresser, 20 table cloths and 42 serviettes.
The attraction of the evening gave a new face of glamour and entertainment to the heroes with a Sing - a - long conducted by the president and led by the Gunners beat group. All members, heroes and kind donors present, joined in the Sing - a - long making the evening more memorable. An action station was laid for the heroes and they were treated to a sumptuous dinner prepared by the Artillery Officers Mess - Panagoda.
Mr Duminda Srilal Wickramasinghe - owner of Four Fast Digital (Pvt) Ltd at Battaramulla was the main sponsor of the dinner and Mr Sam Samuel - Sales Manager of Emerchemie NB (Ceylon) Ltd helped in contributing the pneumatic compresser.
Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Artillery, Maj Gen PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USACGSC and Director of Rehabilitation, Brig WBSM Abeysekara RSP USP were grace the occasion.
