2020-10-07Brigadier GWL Mahinkanda assumed duties as the 33rd Commander of Forward Maintenance Area (North) on 07 October 2020 at the Headquarters in Myliddy, KANKESANTURAI.
The day's proceedings were commenced with the Guard turn out accorded to the incoming Commander at the main entrance. After a brief religious observance, the new Commander left his signature in a formal document to mark the official acceptance of the new office. The day's proceedings concluded with planting of a sapling followed by all ranks' tea.
