Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout. As a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col D M B P B Dissanayake RSP USP SLA placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance. The day's event itinerary included planting of a mango sapling, troops address and all ranks tea at the ORs' Mess.
