Farewell to Major General MP Lamahewa USP
2021-02-22The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery bid a farewell to Major General MP Lamahewa USP, on 22 February 2021 at his retirement from the Regular Force of the Sri Lanka Army after serving more than 34 years and the Ceremony was held at Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda. Commencement of the ceremony marked by laying a flower wreath to the fallen war heroes at the Regimental Monument who made supreme sacrifice to the Motherland. A Guard turnout and Guard of honour was awarded to the outgoing senior Gunner Officer by the Troops of the Regiment of Artillery followed by a tea party at the WOs'/Sgts' mess and all ranks lunch. The days' formalities were terminated after the Dinner Night held at the Officers Mess.
