Felicitation Ceremony for the Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army
2021-09-25A felicitation ceremony was held to express congratulations and respect for Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda after assuming the office as the 36th Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army. The event unfolded on 25 September 2021 at Regimental Headquarter premises, Panagoda with the participation of officers and other ranks.
Featuring the traditional event, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda offered floral tribute to the fallen war heroes of the tribe who made supreme sacrifice in the name of our motherland. Then he reviewed the Guard Turnout presented by the Regimental Headquarters and accepted the Regimental salute accorded by a Guard of Honour mounted by the Regiment.
All officers present were posted for a photograph with the Deputy Chief of Staff and day's proceedings were culminated with the All Rank Tea at 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery.
Event was organized by strictly adhering to all precautionary measures to prevent COVID - 19 pandemic.
