Colonel Commandant Marked His Visit to 7 SLA
2021-11-14The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG marked his visit to 7th Light Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at Minneriya on 10 November 2021. A Drive Past was accorded to the Colonel Commandant at the main entrance and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel HCS Harishchandra RWP USP psc IG SLA. Subsequently, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops. The days event also textured with the planting of sapling and all ranks tea. The Commanding Officer of 7 SLA briefed about the present deployment, duties and developments of the regiment. The days event was concluded after signing the visitors book. The event took place with strictly adhering to the health guidance given to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
