Colonel Commandant Marked His Maiden Visit to 15 SLA
2021-12-01The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG marked his maiden visit to 15 DroneRegiment of Sri Lanka Artillery at Panagoda on 29 November 2021.
On arrival, the Colonel Commandant was honoured with a guard turnout and welcomed by the Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel WPK Senarath RWP RSP USP IG SLA.The Commanding Officer of 15 SLA briefed about the present deployment, duties and developments of the regiment. Subsequently, all Officers and Other Ranks present were posted for a group photograph.The visiting Commander planted a sapling to mark his visit followed by all ranks tea and the troop address by the Colonel Commandant. The day's event was concluded after signing the visitors' book.
The event took place with strictly adhering to the health guidance given to prevent the COVID 19 pandemic.
