MARKING THE CEREMONIAL INAUGURATION OF THE EQUIPMENT ROOM OF THE SCHOOL OF ARTILLERY MINNERIYA
2021-12-18A long-standing requirement of an "Equipment Room" for the School of Artillery was fulfilled on 18 December 2021. The School of Artillery faced anenormous difficulty of teaching technical aspects of gunnery without having a proper equipment room to display all artillery equipment in a single venue.The newly inaugurated equipment room will be exceedingly benefited not only for gunners but also for students from all arms who undergo training at the School of Artillery.
Inauguration ceremony was graced by the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG. The Commander Artillery Brigade, the Commandant School of Artillery, Senior Officers, Officers and men of the Artillery Complex Minneriyaattended for the ceremony. The Colonel Commandant remembered and honoured the ultimate efforts that were made by all Senior Officers, Officers and Soldiers of the "Gunners Tribe" to make this effort a success.
The event has been organized by strictly adhering to all precautionary measures to prevent COVID 19 Pandemic.
