Felicitation Ceremony to Major General MKUP Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG
2022-07-29A felicitation ceremony was held to express congratulations and respect to Major General MKUP Gunaratne RSP ndu psc IG, who was promoted to the rank of Major General in his career as Gunner Officer. The customary event unfolded on 29 July 2022 at Regimental Headquarters premises, Panagoda with the participation of Officers and Other Ranks. On behalf of the Colonel Commandant, all Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment, the Centre Commandant extended the best wishes of the Regiment to the newly promoted Major General.
Featuring the traditional event, first, he reviewed the Guard Turnout and accepted the regimental salute accorded by a Guard of Honour mounted by the Regiment. All officers present were posted for a photograph with the Major General and day's proceedings were culminated with the All Rank Lunch at 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery.
