Artillery Athletes Dominated on the First Day of the Army Inter Regiment Athletic Championship 2010
2010-08-17Athletes of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery won many events on the opening day of the Army Inter Regiment Athletic Championship commence from 17 Aug 2010 at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. Artillery leads the games by obtaining 83 points.
Athletes of the Artillery were winners of the Following events:
5000 meters
4 x 100 Relay
Road Race
Artillery secured 2nd & 3rd places in following events:
Triple jump - 2nd & 3rd place
Javelin - 3rd place
High Jump - 2nd 3rd place
800 meters - 2nd place
Tug of War Advance up to the Semi Finals
