Artillery Athletes Continue to Dominate on the Second Day of the Army Inter Regiment Athletic Championship 2010 by leading over 100 Points.
2010-10-19Athletes of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery continue to win many events on the 2nd day of the ongoing Army Inter Regiment Athletic Championship at Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo. Artillery leads the games by obtaining 197 points. Final day of the Event will be on 19 Aug 2010.
Athletes of the Artillery were winners of the Following events:
Long Jump
Pole Vault
4 x 400 hurdles
200 Meters
3000 Meters Steeple Chase
Medley Relay
Artillery Won 2nd & 3rd places in following events:
Shot Put - 2nd place
Pole Vault - 2nd Place
Long Jump – 3rd Place
3000 Meters Steeple Chase - 3rd Place
4 x 200 Meters Relay – 2nd places
Tug of War Heavy & Light teams qualified for finals
