Artillery Differently able Soldiers Successfully Trained in Handicrafts and Ornamental Gift Items using Recycled Paper
2011-09-0325 disabled soldiers of the Regiment of Artillery successfully completed the training curriculum conducted by the Industrial Development Authority of the Western Province on making handicrafts and ornamental gift items using recycled paper. Training was held in Artillery premises at the Army cantonment Panagoda on four consecutive Sundays. All participants were awarded with certificates at the closing ceremony by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, Agrarian Development, Minor Irrigation, Industries and Environment of the Western Province, held at the Industrial Development Authority complex, Nugegoda on the 29th August 2011.
