Junior Gunners Emerge Joint Champions in the “Young Cougars†Cricket Fiesta 2011.
2011-09-05Young Cougars Cricket Fiesta 2011 was organized by the Junior Club of Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment which was held on 04th September 2011 at Ambepussa. There were eight Junior teams consisting two age groups under 13 & over 13 that took part at the Sinha Regiment Grounds with the attendance of a large crowd. Artillery under 13 & over 13 teams played extremely well to reach finals after very competitive matches. Due to the bad light, finals could not play & organizers declared both teams of over & under 13 are as joint champions. Regiment of Artillery congratulates two teams headed by Chithesh & Gagan and their teams for excellent performances.
