2016-11-18 The portrait of late Major General S R Manawaduge RWP RSP ndu psc IG, former Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery was unveiled at the Regimental Officers' Mess, Panagoda at a ceremony graced by Major General PWB Jayasundara USP ndc psc IG, the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment and beloved family members of late Senior Officer. Traditional replica of the "Lewke Gun" also handed over to the spouse of late Senior Officer in appreciation of the service of late Major General S R Manawaduge RWP RSP ndu psc IG.
Gathering of Officers including Regimental Council members and the members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch were presented to witness the event.
