11 SLA Celebrates 19th Anniversary
2017-08-0211 SLA celebrated its 19th anniversary with a series of ceremonies which culminated in the Regimental Day Parade accorded to the Commanding Officer on 29 July 2017 and All Ranks Lunch at Sittandy, Batticaloa. The celebrations commenced with honouring war heroes at the Artillery Monument at Panagoda on 23 July 2017. Religious activities commenced on with Bodhi Pooja at Sittandy on 26 July 2017. A special Deva Pooja too was held at Minneriya Devalaya on the same day to invoke blessings on the Regiment and a Christian service was held at Church of Lady of Good Health at Kalkudah on 25 July 2017.
