Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery
2017-09-29Officers Training Day of Sri Lanka Artillery was held on 28 September 2017 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda with the participation of Colonel Commandant, Senior Officers and more than 100 officers. The days events were commenced with morning PT, Drill session for officers, informative and thought provoking presentations as listed below:
Presentation on "Tourist Industry Contribution for the National Economy in Sri Lanka" - Officers of 12 (V) SLA.
Human Rabies and Prevention - Dr Amila Gunasekara - Anti Rabies Campaign, Ministry of Health.
Dr Dushan Jayawickrama - Senior Lecturer, University of Sri Jayawardenapura, conducted a very informative presentation on "Understanding Identity, Transformation after Significant Involuntary Loss: Recovery, Strategies, Self-Concept and the Role of Possessions in a Post Disaster Context" during the Dinners Club at the Officers' Mess, which concluded the Training Day successfully.
