Felicitation Ceremony of Major General Roshan Senevirathne
2017-09-29A felicitation ceremony was held to honour Major General AWMPR Seneviratne RSP USP ndu IG who was promoted to the rank of Major General. The customary event unfolded on 29 September 2017 at Regimental Headquarters premises, Panagoda with the participation of large number of officers and other ranks. On behalf of the Colonel Commandant and all officers and other ranks of the Regiment, the Centre Commandant extended the well wishes of the Regiment to the newly promoted Major General.
Featuring the traditional event, first, he offered floral tribute to the fallen war heroes of the regiment who made supreme sacrifice in the name of our motherland. Then he reviewed the Guard Turnout presented by the Regimental Headquarters and accepted the regimental salute accorded by the Regiment. All officers present was posted for a photograph with the Major General and day’s proceedings were culminated with the All Rank Lunch hosted by 6th Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery.
