11th Annual IG Seminar 2017
2018-01-28Sri Lanka Artillery organized its 11th annual IG Seminar which is the most professional round table discussion on artillery matters in multi disciplines. The seminar was held on 26 and 27 January 2018 at the School of Artillery, Minneriya with the participation of large number of Instructors in Gunnery and the forum was presided by Major General W R P de Silva USP ndu IG the General Officer Commanding, 21 Division.
This year theme of the discussion was to upgrade the theoretical and practical knowledge of the gunnery through practical experience in par with modern technology and equipment related to the field. Nominated IGs presented formal presentations on research areas entrusted to them on which the discussion was developed.
School of Artillery under the supervision of Headquarters Artillery Brigade hosts the seminar keeping the traditions and customs of gunner family each year.
