Scholarship program for children by Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch
2021-12-10According to a concept of The President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, sponsored by Mr. Prasad Lokubalasuriya, Maj Gen (Retd) Indira Wijerathne, Mr. Bhagya Wijerathne, Mr. Dulanjaya Wijerathne, Old Boys of Royal College - Colombo and supportive friends from Sri Lanka and foreign countries such as Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Japan, Singapore and Dubai , scholarships worth of Rs. 2500 (per month up to one year) and dictionaries were awarded to 70 children at The Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Artillery - Panagoda on 10 December 2021.
The President of Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch - Mrs. Shyamini Kotuwegoda, Members of Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, The Deputy Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army and Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Artillery, Major General Sampath Kotuwegoda ndc IG, The Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier DammikaWelagedara RSP USP psc IG and other senior officers, children along with their parents were present at the event.
