ARTILLERY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH VISITS TO MIHINDU SETH MEDURA

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Regiment of Artillery meticulously organized a precious visit to 'Mihindu Seth Medura' - Wellness Center, for Army differently abled war heroes on 10th January 2024, Under the esteemed guidance and the blessing of the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College & the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Artillery Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG and the President of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Swendrini Rodrigo, with an immense contribution of few donors.

The visit has been organized to spend time with them, and find out their wellbeing and sharing their sentiments. To commemorate the Occasion, the Seva Vanitha Branch managed to donate essential items for 26 Inmates and 5 Air mattresses as needy common items. The Members of the Seva Vanitha Branch and donors also spent time interacting with war heroes, while sharing an evening tea. The session also came in to live with beautiful sentimental music of Calypso band as well.

Brigadier T S Balasooriya, the Commandant of the 'Mihindu Seth Medura' - wellness Centre and all staff were also present at the occasion and extended their immense support to make this event a success.
