THE ARTILLERY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH DISTRIBUTES NESTOMALT FOR THE TROOPS OF 76 NATIONAL INDEPENDENCE DAY
2024-02-05The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery once again embarked on a deed of goodwill, by coordinating 5000 Nestomalt – “The Malted Food Drink” cups on the rehearsal day 02 February and the day of Independence. The malted drink was served to all participants of Tri- Forces, Sri Lanka police and Special Task Force (STF), Civil Defence Force, and National Cadet Corps (NCC). This kind gesture undoubtedly boosted the morale of the troops who participated, easing off their tiredness for a moment. This commendable contribution was accomplished through the collaboration and generous courtesy of Nestle Lanka PLC for the second consecutive time, at the request of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch. The members of the tri-services, police, and other participants expressed their deep appreciation for this gesture. The Commandant of the Defence Services Command and Staff College and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP psc IG and the President of Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo and members of the Seva Vanitha Branch were also present.
