Meaningful contribution by the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch

The Seva Vanitha Branch of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery made a meaningful contribution by donating two wheelchairs to the Sri Lanka Army Seva Vanitha Unit, aiming to support those in need. This kind gesture highlights the commitment of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery to assist individuals facing mobility challenges.

This was held at the Army Headquarters on 31 January 2025, Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, handed over the wheelchairs to Mrs. Swendrini Rodrigo, President of the Seva Vanitha Unit of the Sri Lanka Army.

The donation of the wheelchairs were done by Mr. H H Lal Pradeep with the coordination of Brigadier P A D T U Perera (Retd).

The Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo RSP ctf-ndu psc IG, and Major General Nilantha Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, were also present at the occasion.
