HANDING OVER CEREMONY OF NEWLY CONSTRUCTED HOUSE TO A NEEDY FAMILY

In a benevolent effort to uplift the living standards of the civil staff attached to the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch successfully completed a housing project for a Civil Waiter Mr. Marasinghe residing in Vilagala, Nilwakka, Kegalle.

The project, funded by the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, commenced on 25 May 2025 under the close supervision of the Commanding Officer of the 4th Field Regiment, Sri Lanka Artillery, with dedicated manpower support provided by the troops.

The completed house was ceremonially handed over to the beneficiary on 22 October 2025. Major General K V N P Premaratne RSP USP nps psc, Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, together with Mrs. Vindya Premaratne, President of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch, graced the occasion and symbolically handed over the keys to the family.
