THE MONTHLY MEETING OF THE SRI LANKA ARTILLERY SEVA VANITHA BRANCH - OCTOBER 2025

The Monthly Meeting of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch was successfully held on 25th October 2025 at the Officers’ Mess, Regimental Centre, Panagoda. The event was attended by the president, senior members and other distinguished ladies of the Seva Vanitha Branch.

During the meeting, several key welfare activities and upcoming projects were discussed, focusing on enhancing the living standards of Artillery families and civil staff.

A special highlight of the event was the appointment of the new Executive Committee to fill existing vacancies within the branch.M/br>
The newly appointed exacutive commitee members are as follows:

1. Mrs. Darshika Ariyarathne - Treasurer
2. Mrs.Dilrukshi Kannangara- Assistant Secretary
3. Mrs.Sanjeewani Welagedara-PRO
4. Mrs. Purna Senani Dharmarathne - Assistant Treasurer
5. Mrs. Sumedha De Soysa- Assistnat PRO

The president and senior members warmly welcomed the newly appointed commitee members and extended their best wishes for a successful tenure.

In line with its continuous welfare commitment, the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch also carried out a donation programme during the meeting. A cheque worth Rs. 25,000 was presented to a Civil Waiter Mr. Pradeep to assist in obtaining medical facilities for his father. In addition, four soldiers of the Artillery Regiment were provided with school items, stationery and each Rs.3,500 Bata gift vouchers for their children.
