Artillery branch of Seva Vanitha organized another workshop and a get-together
2013-09-14Artillery branch of Seva Vanitha organized another workshop and a get-together on 14th of September 2013 at the Artillery complex in Minneriya to entertain spouses of Other Ranks representing all Regiments and institutions of the Regiment of Artillery.
Singer Sri Lanka, the main sponsor of the event conducted a demonstration to educate effective ways of preparing a saree jacket and all ladies present were gifted with an elegant saree t from Ranjana’s and an umbrella by Singer Sri Lanka. A Cookery demonstration was also carried out by Singer Sri Lanka with a raffle draw and most of the ladies walked away with valuable items of Singer Sri Lanka products such as Washing Machines, Rice cookers, Cake mixers, Irons, Waffle Irons, DVD Players, Gas cookers, Microwave ovens, Pressure Cookers, Blender/Mixer/Grinders, Multi Cookers and Non Stick Pans etc.
The dancing Troupe by the name of Anjana from Polonnaruwa entertained the gathering with their dancing acts. All were provided with refreshments with milk packs throughout the event and a sumptuous lunch at the end. Those who had difficulties too had the opportunity to speak to the Seva Vanitha ladies during the event.
All participants were given a gift pack containing house hold goods and a bag of cosmetics sponsored by Nature Secret and Uni Livers at the end. All dispersed with pleasant memories.
