Financial Assistance for a Gunner Family for Medical Treatments

Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch offered a financial donation of Rs 50000.00 to a member of the Gunner family from 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery for the medical treatment of his daughter on 04 December 2015.

The three and half year old daughter of Bdr Abysinghe Banda was suffering with an eye cancer leading to an enucleation of the eye. Same symptoms had been recognized with the remaining eye involving number of medical tests and series of special treatments prescribed by the doctors demanding a greater amount of financial commitment. Members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch headed by its president made the donation to express solidified assistance to the Gunner Family in rescue their daughter’s vision and embarked on organizing further possible financial assistance to support them.
