2019-08-15Lt Col D P L T Kaluaggala RSP USP IG assumed office as the 13th Commanding Officer of 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery on 15 August 2019 at Headquarters 9th Field Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Thalawa.
Programme for assuming duties commenced with reviewing the Guard Turnout presented by the Unit. Then as a symbolic gesture of taking over the command, Lt Col D P L T Kaluaggala RSP USP IG placed his signature for a formal document after a brief religious observance. The itinerary has included with planting a sapling, laying foundation stone for Gun yard and troop address.
