Courtesy call to Major General PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu USACGSC, Commandant SLAVF and Colonel Commandant - SLA

Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva extended his best wishes to retiring Major General PR Wanigasooriya VSV USP ndu UASCGSC, Commandant, Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery, one more proud soldier of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery on 23 October 2020.

Major General Ruwan Wanigasooriya also thanked the Commander of the Army for his wishes and the thoughtfulness while mentioning about the encouragement he received from the Army Chief to perform his duties. Towards the end of the interaction, Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva awarded a special memento to the retiree as a symbol of appreciation and commendation.
