COMMANDER ARTILLERY BRIGADE LAID FOUNDATION STONE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF GUN SHED AT THE REAR HEADQUARTERS OF 10 SLA
2021-02-11It has been a long due requirement to have proper Gun Sheds to provide adequate shelter and protection in order to preserve Artillery guns which were the main strength behind the victorious SL Army. Having identified the core requirement, Colonel Commandant prioritize his plans after assume office and one of his main concerns were given to construct and/or renovate Gun Sheds at all artillery regiments, possess Guns and/or MBRLs. Working in line with the vision of Colonel Commandant, Commander Artillery Brigade formulate and execute a prompt plan to meet the requirement.
Continuing the plan, on 10th February 2021, Commander Artillery Brigade laid foundation stone for the construction of second half of the Gun Shed at 10th Medium Regiment Sri Lanka Artillery, Rear Headquarters, MUDUNGODA.
The laying of foundation-stone was done with the blessings of 'Seth Pirith'. Second in Command, Officers and skilled Soldiers of 10 SLA were attend for the simple decorous ceremony.
