The Graduation of Young Officers' Course - 47 was held on 28 April 2021
2021-04-28The Graduation Ceremony of Young Officers' Course - 47 was held at the School of Artillery, Minneriya on 28 April 2021, while respecting all health guidelines issued by the Government and the Army Headquarters. 12 Young Officers will join with their respective regiments as 'True Gunners' after successful completion of the course.
Major PGTUB Jayaratne RSP USP psc IG SLA, the Chief Instructor - School of Artillery graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest and all officers extended their wishes to Young Officers for successful completion of the course and awarded certificates and the "Observation Post Badges" for all students. C/85275 Second Lieutenant WNAP Rajakaruna SLA from 8th Medium Regiment SLA secured the first in order of merit in the course and he was awarded with the "Silver Gun" while being qualified to add his name to the "Silver Gunner Board" in the School of Artillery.
