Major General WBSM Abeysekara RSP USP assumed duties as the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture and Livestock.
2021-08-18Maj Gen Shiran Abeysekera took over the duties as the 1st Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Corps of Agriculture & Livestock on 16 Aug 2021 at Karandeniye Ambalangoda. SLACAL is the Newly formed Regiment of SL Army to boost Army and Country's Agricultural sector. The day’s event itinerary included planting of a mango sapling, troop address and all rank tea. The event was organized strictly adherence to the health guidelines given to prevent the Covid -19 pandemic.
