Crtificate Awarding Ceremony of Long Gunnery Staff Course (OR) FD - 18
2022-12-23Certificate awarding Ceremony of the Long Gunnery Staff Course (LGSC) FD - 18, which was commenced from 08 February 2022 to 22 December 2022, was held on 23 December 2022 at School of Artillery, Minneriya. After a successful completion of the course, 13 NCOs were graduated as Assistant Instructors in Gunnery.
The General Officer Commanding, 56 Infantry Division, Major General H G P M Kariyawasam RSP ndc psc IG graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. He witnessed the final presentation of the course on the subject of "Breech Mechanism of 122 mm Howitzer Model 1983". The Chief Guest awarded certificates and insignias to new AIsG during the ceremony.
Bombardier Gamage A G A S of 15 SLA secured the first in the order of merit, having obtained the highest aggregate. The overall course average recorded as 69.51 percent. Representatives of all Artillery Regiments were present during this event.
