7th Light Regiment Culminates Unit Training

The unit training of 7th Light Regiment conducted under the guidance of Colonel Commandant and the supervision of Commander Artillery Brigade, Commandant School of Artillery was concluded few days ago at the School of Artillery, Minneriya. A total 10 x Officers and 252 x Other Ranks participated the training for a Period of 14 days (from 20 March to 2 April 2023) with the instructional assistance of School of Artillery.
The content of refresher course included basics of artillery concepts, teachings and gun drills. The Artillery Voice Procedure, Fire Discipline, 120 mm Mortar Gun Drills, Introduction to Artillery Ammunitions, Command Post Exercise followed by a Competition and Deployment Exercises refreshed all troops during the training.
