Passing Out Parade of The Post Depot Course FD - 223
2023-04-10The passing out parade of the Post Depot Course FD - 223 was successfully held on 08 April 2023 at School of Artillery, Minneriya. There were 117 well motivated gunners joined the "Gunner Family" after successful completion of strenuous training for 03 months. S/167428 Gnr Udayanga M A K L of 8 SLA emerged as the "Best Gunner" and he was awarded with a Replica of the "Lewke Gun".
Brigadier K V N P Premaratne RSP USP psc, Brigadier General Staff, Security Forces Headquarters (West) graced the event as the chief guest and his address during the event was undoubtedly a great inspiration to all new Gunners. Number of senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and close relatives of passed out gunners were present during this memorable occasion.
