Pirith Chanting Ceremony and Alms Giving at Regimental Headquarters - Panagoda
2023-05-04An overnight Pirith Chanting ceremony was held in the evening on 20 April 2023, in line with the 135th Regimental Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony. The event was concluded with the offering of alms giving to Maha Sanga on 21st morning where the religious blessings were invoked on the heroic Gunners who paid the supreme sacrifice.
The Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General W A S S Wanasinghe RSP VSV USP ndu, along with Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment of Artillery were present in the occasion.
