7th South Asian Karate Championship 2023, Nepal
2023-12-12The 7th South Asian Karate Championship was held from 28 November 2023 to 03 December 2023 in Kathmandu in Nepal with the participation of 500 players from six different countries. 42 players have participated representing Sri Lanka for the tournament.
S/A100320 L/Bdr Nasrat M S M of Sri Lanka Artillery, won 2nd place and bagged a silver medal in weight class 84 kg above and bronze medal in the Team Kumte Tournament, bringing glory to Sri Lanka as well as to the Regiment and the Army. This is the first ever victory of Sri Lankan Karate squad member in an international tournament.
