The Sri Lanka Artillery Swimming Squad showcased their prowess in the 84th Open Sea 02 Mile Swimming Tournament -2024
2024-03-16The Swimming Tournament was Organized by Mount Lavinia Hotel was held at the beach near Mount Lavinia Hotel on 16 March 2024. The event attracted nearly 500 swimmers from various parts of the island. The Sri Lanka Artillery Swimming Squad, comprising six talented swimmers, exhibited exceptional skills and determination throughout the competition. The results are as follows:
Following Swimmers Finished the Race within the First 60 Minutes:
a. S/163975 L/Bdr Chaturanga PMGH secured the 163rd place with a time of 56:59.19 minutes.
b. S/165480 Gnr Dissanayake DMRM claimed the 177th place with a time of 58:14.01 minutes.
c. S/165808 Gnr Withanage WVLP achieved the 194th place with a time of 58:54.46 minutes.
d. S/165427 L/Bdr Herath KMMK finished in the 195th place with a time of 58:58.56 minutes.
Following Swimmers Finished the Race within the First 70 Minutes:
a. S/164997 L/Bdr Sugathapala HCK secured the 224th place with a time of 1:01.07 hours.
b. S/165145 L/Bdr Kumar JAWN claimed the 255th place with a time of 1:01.07 hours.
