SRI LANKA ARTILLERY MARKS ITS 136 ANNIVERSARY COMMEMORATION CEREMONY TO REVERE WAR HEROES
2024-04-24The Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment paid tribute to the Fallen War Heroes at the Regimental Monument in Panagoda on April 22, 2024, as part of the 136th Regimental Anniversary Celebrations. The Commander of the Army Lieutenant General H L V M Liyanage RWP RSP ndu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Former Commander of the Army General C S Weerasooriya RWP RSP VSV USP was the Guest of Honour. The Commandant Defence Services Command and Staff College and the Colonel Commandant of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery Major General B K G M L Rodrigo RSP psc IG and Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks, and Family members participated in the event. Many Retired Senior Officers, Officers, and Other Ranks and family members as well as NOKs of Fallen War Heroes and their family members attended the remembrance.
