A New House for International Athlete WO I Prasanna Amarasekara
2014-01-09House warming ceremony of the house constructed for International Athlete Warrant Officer I Prasanna Amarasekara of the Regiment of Artillery was held at 0630 hours on 9 January 2014 at Millagahawatta Road, Kiriwaththuduwa. Lt Gen RMD Ratnayake WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc the Commander of the Army who initiated concept of providing houses for Army athletes, ceremonially handed over the keys to WO I Prasanna Amarasekara. The house was constructed with the financial assistance of the Ministry of Sports, Sri Lanka Athletic Association, the Regiment of Artillery and Mr Chandi Rambukpotha of Hi Fashion and labour force for the construction was provided by the Corps of Engineer Services and the Regiment of Artillery.
