2014-03-08A house warming ceremony of the house constructed for the next of kin of (Late) S/158013 Lance Bombardier Rajaguru RHMDT (KIA) of the 14 Rocket Regiment was held at 1028 hours on 7 March 2014 at Kumbukwewa, Negampaha, GALNEWA. “A house for each Gunner†is a soldier welfare project initiated by the Colonel Commandant – Sri Lanka Artillery, Major General JC Rambukpotha RSP USP ndc psc IG. The Commander Artillery Brigade, Brigadier PMSA Pallemulla USP IG and Mrs PMSA Pallemulla ceremonially handed over the house to mother of (Late) Lance Bombardier. Enamours resources and skilled labour force for the construction was exclusively provided by the 14 Rocket Regiment. The Commandant, School of Artillery - Col MP Karunarathne IG, The Commanding Officer, 9 Field Regiment - Lt Col GJNW Fernando psc IG SLA, members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch and several other distinguished invitees graced the ceremony.
