14 Artillery Officers Graduated at DSCSC
2011-12-14The Graduation Ceremony of Defence Services Command and Staff College course number 05 (01.2011 to 14.12.2011) was held at the college auditorium in Sapugaskanda. The Chief Guest was the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Hon D M Jayarathne. Altogether 48 Army, 13 Navy, 14 Air Force and 8 officers from the friendly foreign countries were graduated. The Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery is proud to have 14 officers out of the 48 Army officers. It was a remarkable achievement as such a large number of officers from any of the Regiment of Sri Lanka Army, never being selected for one course in the history of Defence Services Command and Staff College. Major General J C Rambukpotha RSP USP ndc psc IG, the Colonel Commandant of Regiment of Sri Lanka Artillery is also the present Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College.
