Army Seva Vanitha Children’s Christmas Festival
2014-12-22The Army Seva Vanitha Children’s Christmas Festival was held at the Artillery Regimental Center Grounds on 22 Dec bringing the festivity to the children at the eve of Christmas 2014. Mrs. Priyadarshani Damayanthi Ratnayake, Chairman of Army Seva Vanitha Branch, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Many numbers of events and stalls were organized for children in its splendid manner to engulf the evening with entertainment. Regiment of Artillery contributed in the mega event by erecting a Christmas Crib which was the most lucrative and attractive place among the children. Artillery Beat Group was seen mixing their rhythmic voice to raise the amusement of the evening. More than 500 children participated in the festival and Christmas gifts were distributed by the Santa Claus among them.
