Artillery Combat Shooting Competition - 2015
2015-02-2614 SLA has organized an Inter Unit Combat Shooting Competition for year 2015 from 21 to 24 Feb 2015 at the Army Firing Range Punnani. A three day seminar was conducted for 60 officers and 60 other rankers on the patronage of 14 SLA prior to the competition. Brig N Hathurusinghe psc IG Hdmc, as the Chief Guest, graced the prize awarding ceremony held at 1600 hrs on 24 Feb at the Range. Lt Col RMSP Rathnayake CO-14 SLA along with other senior officers cordially welcomed the Chief Guest. The Shooters of the 7 SLA secured the overall championship for the second consecutive year and 14 SLA became the runner up team in the competition. S/158531 Bdr Sanjeewa AA 14 SLA was awarded best shooter of the overall competition having a score of 204 Marks.
