Inauguration of Artillery Seva Vanitha Stationery Shop
2015-12-18Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch inaugurated a Stationery Shop beside the Habarakada main entrance with the view to raise funds to uplift welfare of the Artillery soldiers. The facility is available for soldiers in the cantonment and the general public in the area too.
The shop was inaugurated on 18 December 2015 by the Chief Guest, Colonel Commandant of the Regiment, Major General M Hathurushinge RSP ndc IG in a brief ceremony. The President of the Sri Lanka Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Dammika Hathurushinghe, Vice President Mrs Manolanka Wickramarthne, Secretary Mr Champika Sudashinghe and other members were presented at the occasion along with many senior officer to witness the proceedings.
The welfare shop will comprise of printing, laminating, binding facility and all stationary requirement for customers. Branded and high quality products will be available for sale at concessional prices. All the earning will be dedicated to the enhancement of the welfare of soldiers.
