Felicitation Ceremony for Artillery Medalists in SAG - 2016
2016-02-24Three athletes and their coaches produced from Sri Lanka Artillery who brought glory and fame to Sri Lanka with their outstanding performance at the 12th South Asian Games (SAG) 2016 were felicitated by the Regiment on 23rd February 2016 at the Regimental Centre, Panagoda.
The ceremony was hosted under the direction of Maj Gen SR Manawaduge RWP RSP ndu psc IG, the Colonel Commandant of the regiment and many gunner officers and other ranks attended the function under the patronage of Colonel Commandant.
During the Colonel Commandants address to the congregation, he admired the distinguish achievements made by all the participants which had brought the honour to the gunner family as well as to the Army and to the motherland whilst extending his heart felt gratitude to them behalf of the Regiment.
