Members of the Artillery Seva Vanitha Visited Abhimansala
2012-01-2828th of January 2012, morning was a bright, sunny and a beautiful one. Everything about the place looked fresh, pleasant and pleasing, and the landscape was glorious. President of the Seva Vanitha Artillery Branch Mrs. Champika Rambukpotha and its members visited Abhimansala Wellness Resort situated along the banks of the Nuwara Wewa in Anuradhapura. A smiling soldier on a wheel chair extended a warm welcome to the President and its members of Artillery Seva Vanitha, followed by the Commandant and the staff of Abhimansala. Thereafter a Brass lamp, 50 numbers of pen torch batteries, housekeeping items, kitchen utensils and medical items were donated to Abhimansala by the Artillery Seva Vanitha Branch. The President and its members also made it a point to have a close interaction with all inmates of Abhimansala gifting them a fruit basket each. It was an encouraging and a satisfying period for all Seva Vanitha members to be with them as their facial expressions and gestures clearly indicated how pleased they were. Later In the afternoon everyone gathered in the dining area to sing and dance to the tunes of the Artillery Band displaying their talents in many ways.
